Constructed as a design-build project, this 83,000 square
foot facility encloses a large auditorium space with seating for over 2,500, a
state of the art broadcast facility, theatrical lighting and sound systems, a
recording studio, a two-story lobby/assembly space which will seat 400 guests at tables, and 20,000 square feet of education
and music space. Two children's education spaces accommodate 60 children each
for live theater with permanent stage sets, theatrical lighting and sound
equipment. A central entry element houses a 3,500 square foot Bookstore/Cafe
with church offices above. The structure is custom pattern precast tilt-up
concrete panels with steel and glass window walls, and steel columns with
long-span trusses in the auditorium space. The beautifully landscaped site
includes a lake surrounding three 145 to 175 foot tall crosses which serve as a
backdrop for the facility's many broadcast venues.
