The historic Saint Paul's Cathedral was designed by Master Architect Philip Frohman, who also designed Washington National Cathedral. Construction has occured in phases beginning in 1928, but remains unfinished.

The Saint Paul's Cathedral and Homes project created a comprehensive redevelopment program and master plan for the Cathedral campus including completion of the Cathedral in the spirit of its historic design, as well as 102 new luxury condominums in two mid-rise towers of 13 and 15 stories, underground parking, office and retail space. Entitlements were approved in November 2011. Construction was completed in 2016 on the parcel at 5th and Nutmeg, now called Vue on 5th.
