Stone Flats - Scripps Ranch

San Diego, CA

Stone Flats, a new restaurant concept designed to provide a healthy dining experience in a fun urban loft environment, opened its first restaurant in a planned nationwide chain in November 2010 in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, California. The second store opened in Encinitas, California in Fall 2012.

Designed to allow guests to customize their dining experience, the Stone Flats concept centers around fresh, made-to-order flatbreads, salads and signature soups that provide a quick, value-priced, and nutritionally balanced meal.

Stone Flats’ eco-friendly practices such as recycling, energy efficient appliances and lighting, and the use of only recyclable paper and plastic products are evident in the urban loft interior, which features Emeco chairs made from recycled Coke bottles, hot rolled steel table tops, quartz surface Cesarstone counters, and decorative wood walls using Wyoming snow fences with 100% reclaimed highly sustainable wood weathered by nature.

The 2,800 square foot Scripps Ranch location features seating for 65 including a communal table designed to accommodate larger groups.
